In 2002 the Guarding contract for Millbay Docks was renewed.
Securi-Guard, together with two other major security providers,
were invited to tender for the Contract. The decision to award
the Contract to Securi-Guard was based on the following factors:

• Staff - Securi-Guard operate
a significant number of other contracts in the area and can
offer a large staff pool locally, which ensures available back
up during periods of staff sickness and during periods when
additional Staff are required.
• Health and Safety - The
evidence Securi-Guard presented showed their Health and Safety
policy and accident record to be commendable
I am pleased with the management commitment
to our Contract and I am satisfied with the on-site supervisory
arrangements. Staff training is given a high priority. Securi-Guard
staff employed on site are conscientious, committed and flexible.
I would recommend Securi-Guard based on the
positive experience we have had at Millbay Docks.
During a recent inspection, Department of
Transport (TRANSEC) Inspectors commented very favourably on
the performance of all Securi-Guard staff on site.
