Eurowatch
The EUROWATCH service enables fast, effective
and reliable access to the police across Europe. With service centres
in 31 countries linked by innovative web technology and Operators that
speak every national language, vehicle owners and drivers can raise an
alarm and have it passed to the Police in any country in Europe, quickly
and accurately.
The EUROWATCH concept
is simple
The service acts as a conduit for transferring
crime notifications to the Police and follows through with detailed
vehicle tracking information to assist the Police in their response.
National Service Providers all have accreditation to the Police
within their own country and are linked on to another by common
standards for technology, procedure and language. It is
this efficiency of operation that enables it to work so well
with the Police during a crime and produces its outstanding
record of success. To date 100% of stolen vehicles have
been returned to their owners, £millions of stolen freight
has been recovered and more than 100 persons have been arrested
and successfully prosecuted by the different Police Forces across
Europe.

The Eurowatch Service
The EUROWATCH service is designed to meet the
needs of vehicle owners and drivers that travel internationally and therefore
are exposed to the risk of falling victim to crimes when abroad. Transporters
of high-value goods and owners of luxury cars form the majority of EUROWATCH’s
subscribers. Their vehicles are generally equipped with telematics
systems which can transmit tracking data to EUROWATCH in the event of
a crime occurring. This is then forwarded direct to the Police
via a secure internet link that is provided. This on-line
access to specialised data is highly regarded by the Police and is frequently
described by them as the “missing piece of the jigsaw”.
Coverage
Coverage extends today to Western, Central and
Eastern Europe and parts
of the Russian Federation. The Middle East and North Africa
will be added as the service expands. It is anticipated that the network
will eventually cover more than 40 countries.
