Protection and Safety
Prior to commencing any contract we meet with the client to determine their exact requirements. These may include ensuring only authorised personnel access the site during working hours, that Health and Safety requirements are being met, or ensuring items removed are authorised. During the ‘silent hours’ the Security Officers responsibilities will include deterring theft from the site and protecting the site from unauthorised access, including children using the site as a playground.

Training
Our Security Officers at the front line represent both us, and our customers, which is why we invest so much in them through training and management support.

Our Security Officers receive extensive in-house training from our NOCN/Skills for Security accredited trainers, covering all aspects of security and safety.

They also receive extensive ‘on-site’ training to ensure they fully understand your company and any specific requirements it may have.

Security Officers employed on construction sites may, if required by the client’, receive additional training to comply with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. This will be discussed at the initial meeting with the client.

Health and Safety
All Security Officers are issued with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform to ensure they carry out their duties in full compliance of Health and Safety regulations.

24 hour Communications Centre
No matter what their role, every one of our Security Officers is in immediate contact with the Securi-Guard Communications Centre and carries out hourly coded check-calls. If the call is missed, the Duty Operator then finds out why. Should it be an incident, he/she can call on the full resources of the Securi-Guard organisation, or immediately contact the emergency services – which ever`s the most appropriate.
