In today’s environment of risk assessment and with the increasing responsibility for safety on the owner/occupier, it is increasingly important that the quality of fire protection and fire alarm system is `fit for purpose` and is installed and maintained by `competent persons`. Securi-Guard Fire and Security have been awarded BAFE SP 203 and NSI Gold Fire. NSI Gold Fire is only awarded to company’s with a ISO 9001 Quality Procedure.

Securi-Guard is third party accredited under the BAFE SP 203 scheme and NSI Gold Fire. We are independently audited to ensure compliance with the following categories:

• design
• installation
• commissioning and handover 
• verification and maintenance

All of the above are in accordance with BS 5839: Part 1:2002.

Securi-Guard is also an active member of the Fire Industry Association (FIA).

Fire Alarm Design Services
To be truly effective all of our fire alarm systems must be individually designed in accordance with an approved risk assessment in order to minimize the risk. We take into account the usage of the premises so that the system remains effective and user friendly.

We can also offer a specialist fire alarm design service for architects, consulting engineers and electrical contractors.

Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance

At Securi-Guard we don’t just perform the required functional and operational tests, our customer service commitment includes assistance with on-site training of responsible personnel, advice on the different types of fire alarm systems available, and their limitations in regard to your individual needs, and cost effective quotations for modifications and alterations to existing systems.

Monitored Systems
All fire alarm system types can be monitored by Securi-Guard’s Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). This enables us to contact the relevant emergency service and/or key holder. We are the only NSI Gold ARC in Devon and Cornwall.

Keyholding
To complement our monitoring service Securi-Guard also operates a 24/7 Key Holding service.

As part of our Key Holding service, Securi-Guard personel can also carry out monthly fire alarm checks to ensure your system/s continue to function correctly.

National Installation of Fire Alarms
For `multi-site` customers Securi-Guard can undertake installations anywhere in the UK. These can be managed by one person to provide a one-stop shop for all your fire and security needs.
