Visitor Management Systems

Visitor Management Systems - The Benefits
The security of a company, its assets and people (including visitors) is of prime concern to all organisations.  An effective visitor management system can help you keep your company secure during office hours and ensure that visitors are clearly badged so that anyone who should not be there can be clearly identified and challenged.  It also ensures that visitors are aware of your Health and Safety procedures, fulfilling your obligations under the Management of Health and Safety At Work Regulations 1999, which state that you have to provide visitors and contractors with appropriate Health and Safety information including risks and preventative measures.

Visitor Management Systems - LobbyWorks Suite
The LobbyWorks Suite is an innovative technology based electronic solution to the complex challenges of visitor management. It automates the process of the visitor management function, manages the risk of a potential security breach, and helps compliance with health and safety requirements, outperforming traditional paper based or other electronic visitor systems in terms of security, technology, productivity, cost effectiveness, ease of use and integration.

LobbyWorks combines the integration power of the most commonly used office applications: Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook. It integrates with Microsoft’s Active Directory, where all employee usernames and passwords are stored and can automatically retrieve the list of all pre-programmed users in the organisation, enabling it to provide an automated visitor announcement solution with 'pop-ups' appearing on hosts desktop screens. Hosts can also pre-register visitors or groups via an internal web browser.

Visitors can use LobbyWorks from software on reception PC's or via ‘self serve’ kiosks, located in reception areas, where their details can be captured via card scan and photo. The LobbyWorks system then informs the host that their visitor has arrived - by email, pop-up or automated phone call.
