Business Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and ambitious individual to join a very forward thinking and expanding company.

We are looking to employ an innovative, driven and determined field sales professional to proactively win new business within our Technical Systems Department.

The right candidate will ideally have a track record of strategically targeting new business and winning contracts in a challenging environment as well as maintaining and developing the Companies existing data base. You will confidently represent the business whilst focusing on enhancing Securi-Guard Ltd’s market position and creating new revenue streams within the Electronic Security sector by strategically targeting new business via proactive and intelligent business development. All the time ensuring the client is given the highest possible level of customer service.

The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of Electronic Security Products encompassing Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm Products. The successful candidate will also ideally have a good working knowledge of the relevant industry standards in the previously mentioned disciplines and be able to apply them in the correct manner when designing Electronic Security Systems.

You will have a rounded knowledge of the entire sales cycle from generating leads, through to quotation/tendering and closing the sale. You must identify target accounts for new business generation. You will be expected to develop account strategies to maximise sales opportunities. The ability to ensure cost effective use of time through call planning and objective setting is essential.

You will have the ability to operate on own initiative effectively organising and maximising appointments with potential and existing customers. A track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets in the Electronic Security Sector would be a desired attribute.
